![]() Just a glimpse into what I have been doing for the last few months. In this configuration the total fan capacity sees a decline switching from 4 140 fans to 2 while only adding 2 120 fans, so the max CFM will be 306,5 in / 268 out, again not counting the unknown flow from the GPU, but I do like the theoretical numbers. Rear and front, top fan SL-INF 120 exhaust.įront, middle and bottom fans SL-inf 120 reverse blade intake I'm pretty sure that it balances out nicely to a slightly positive pressure build.Īlternatively, I can take it a step forward and swap out a few other fans. The balance would be neg pressure with max speeds giving 266,7CFM intake and 327,7CFM exhaust not counting the 3 100mm Windforce fan battery on the GPU. Now that is a tweak of the current fan setup. That added side intake is something else and I am now rethinking the flow of the case as the side vent opens it up for a proper chimney flow.įront left: AIO radiator, bottom fan intake, top 1 exhaust Just a day back I received a vented (with filter) side panel for the case and mounted the card normally again. Then I got an angled GPU mount, traded in on the temps until I took a cutting wheel to the angled mount to make it angle forward and got even better temps again. Keeping the fans as they are I first took a cutting wheel to the GPU's PCI bracket to mount it horizontally, got pretty good temps, but it looks a bit off in this case. When I fit my GPU, a big a** Aorus Elite 7900 XTX was found to be hugging the sidepanel.Īnd trust me, the position of GPUs in this case see little benefit from the bottom mounted intakes as most of the air just pushes past the backplate of the card. Total CFM on max speeds would be about: 339,4 intake and 255,9 exhaust. In the bottom I placed the 2 Capellix 140 fans that came with the AIO. Added one Hyte FE-120 fans from the case to the front slot of the top space. H115i AIO front mounted radiator (280) on the intake with SL-inf 140s.ģ-pack SL-inf 120s on the exhaust, 2 top, 1 rear. I have been working on this case since I got it and I am having a blast doing so. The HYTE FA Series Fans bring airflow to the masses with stylish fans - no extra frills. Let me know if you have any other questions and I'll try to help! Sleek, functional and over-designed triple fan pack for maximum value. lol If it's properly populated with fans and an AIO, the temps are pretty good. Half the reviews only used the stock fans and an air cooler for.some reason. I feel that the temps in reviews were kind of all over the place. That's my only minor gripe with the case. ![]() The cable grommets are kind of annoying as they don't hide much, and if they pop out (which they will) they're a PITA to get back into place. I went with the more traditional layout of bottom and side AIO fans as intake, and top/rear as exhaust. Being a dual chamber case rather than a basement type layout means that cable management is going to be a little tight, but nothing too difficult to work with. The case is really well laid out, and for the most part the build process was fairly simple. The highest I've seen temps go are a bit under 70c at full load. I have a 3080 hybrid on the side and a 360mm AIO up top cooling a 5800x.
